Becoming an NDIS SDA Provider: Registration and Compliance

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is one of the highest-value NDIS funding categories. SDA providers build or modify dwellings that meet specific design standards for participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. Registration requires certification-level auditing and full compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

SDA registration pathways share requirements with SIL provider registration, including comprehensive policies and procedures and participant risk assessments. HCPA manages the complete registration process for SDA providers.
